Please join us on Saturday July 6 from 2.30 pm for the opening of Pam Thorburn’s exhibition of still life paintings, Colour Stories.
Following her very successful exhibition last year, we are delighted to welcome Pam back for what promises to be another fantastic exhibition.
“The still life genre ignites my creative spirit,” says Pam. “Each object I paint carries with it a story. Through colour, I seek to evoke the spectrum of human experience – from the serene blues of nostalgia to the subtle contemplative pinks, from intense bright colours of joy to the more muted colours of introspection.”
Pam will be in the gallery on Saturday July 6 from 2.30 pm discussing her inspiration and her work. Please join us for a glass of something cool and fizzy and a browse around the paintings.
The exhibition continues until Saturday August 10.
